What Have I Been up to?

Well… It’s a long story and so much has happened. Boy! It’s crazy how time goes by so fast!

Throughout the past thirteen weeks, I have been searching for the truth in my belief and faith. It’s been a journey of discovery full of difficulties and hardships; seeing the board, understanding the homework, reading, thinking and overthinking. A lot of the time I felt like giving up, pursued by enemies who told me I didn’t belong here, that there was no point, that

I should just give in and drop out.

It was hard.

But God is bigger than the enemy. He helped me through this phase of hardships, providing a wonderful community and encouraging family members to keep me going.

In the past thirteen weeks, I have learned so much about the Bible and what it means to me and the world.

I didn’t only learn the importance of understanding the Gospel and how important it is to share its message, I also learned the importance of knowing the enemy. We have authority given by God through His Son to prevent the enemy from separating us from Him and His greater plan.

We cannot forget the gift that God gave us in the form of Jesus. We cannot forget how much Jesus, God clothed in flesh, suffered for us. We cannot forget the resurrection.

One thing that personally touched me throughout this school year was the realization that God is a father-- That God is my father.

Growing up without parents was really hard for me, I always questioned God’s love for me; why, in this world of suffering, would I be his son?

These three months have really helped me to understand these questions inside of me more.

I am so grateful to the people God lead to me, and to my family and friends. I am so grateful that God has given me this opportunity to help those like me, to help others understand God’s love for them.

The BSN lecture phase ended last week, now we are in the outreach training phase. I will be working through the program Mission Adventure (MA) that is located in Madison Wisconsin. The focus of this program is on the youth in Wisconsin, it is a weekly program where they get together to learn about God, His love for them, and how to overcome sin.

I will be teaching a course titled: Goodness of God and Building and Friendship with God. I am excited to reach the youth students! (If you’d like to know more about this program, there is more info at ywammadison.org andywam.org)

We did some local outreach. for the last one we hand out hot dogs. brats and drinks for people in Madison. like homeless, UW students, and anyone who walks by and wants something to eat or drink.

A Prayer Request

I have a prayer request for you all. I still need around 700$ dollars to pay for outreach. God is good, and He will provide, but I would appreciate any prayers you could spare for my cause.

Please pray for me.

Thank You Again

Thank you again for all you do! That is all for today, I don’t want to write too much.
