I m so excited to share with you that Mission Adventure starting again this summer!!
Each year MA has a theme and this year our MA theme is TASTE & SEE.
Our goal is to help students to Taste and See that the Lord is good. God is near not far. He wants to do life with you because he cares about what you do. There will be five groups for MA this year and we will see some new faces along with some old friends that came last year. For more information about what MA is click the link below
Spring MA
Like our friends, Three River School that came all the way from Washington State to do the spring MA again! It was so fun to see the leaders and new students. Ministries we did our kid's ministry, a downtown ministry where we give people free hot dog right off the grill, we did some prayer walk around some of the city like Sun Prairie and
We had a blast with our friends from Washington State. It is so cool to see how the students want to be with God after this one week of MA. Students are inspired by the teaching and realize that they can help and do live with God. Now we have connections and an invitation to go there for the school opening this September. What a connection we had with this amazing school because they send us an email about how encouraged they were as they returned home from Madison. Here is an email that was sent to us
Hi ywam Madison Our team had such a wonderful time learning and serving in Madison again this year. Your team is so welcoming. You all really know how to make us feel at home and like we belong. The teaching and leadership you guys demonstrate and provide is top-notch, not only did our students thrive under your care but so did we leaders. What you all are doing over there is amazing and we appreciate that you have allowed us to be a part of it these past two years.
My team and I are so inspired by how God’s love has touched middle and high school students and the best part is that we are growing alongside them too. I can't wait to see what God has for us this summer
Mobile Team to Iowa
I m honored to work with our YWAM Madison mobile team where we promote programs that offer here like DTS and a trip to Nicarágua. We were invited to go to the small town of Mediapolis Iowa and you might be remembered that a team from Iowa came last year. Well, that’s where we are headed to a very small town of Mediapolis where only 1600 people live there. Not to motioned one of my closest friends Caleb Nelson lived there too. So it’s pretty cool to be there and feel the warm culture as everyone knows each other. We headed out on Wednesday morning and got there around noon. We did skits, teaching, and testimony at the local church. We had a great time catch with some students that came last and we prayed that they will continue to follow God as well doing life with Him.
Prayer request
Pray for our MA team to have more staff come alongside to help us this summer.
Pray for our students who are coming this summer to have a great understanding of what’s like to do life with God not for God.
I m trying to move out of the base but finance and location are hard so pray for more open door and supports financially as I lost some of the supporters this year.
Pray for Sudan as there is a war happening and people are hurt by the efforts or war. Pray that God’s will will be with those who are lost everything.
